About The Book
The book is about Modern Problems and Ancient Solutions. At the out set it may look funny but the author strongly feels that it is very vital to bring this message to the readers as we are at cross-roads in this 21 century from ancient traditional roots to modernity. Modernity in the sense that we all have to accept the fast changing technology and the events hovering around us. If we look back to ancient Aryan civilization which has its roots in India and having Vedic culture and heritage deep rooted in the minds and our routines of our day to day work, worship and wisdom. No doubt with time a change is a must as technology and innovation brings us to realities of life. In one sense no one is a exception to this path of life which has brought us and put us in par with the civilized and developing and developed Nations. It is a proud fact that we have moved from Stone age - Metallic age Computer age Space age very fast. The things are changing accordingly in our day - to - day life with speed and authority. As I am writing this book we are almost in the Nano - technology age which is being brought out in our life. All these have brought definitely gains in our life-style like in T.V. from Radio, from Telephone to Mobiles of 3G, 4G generation. From bullock cart to space-age. From slow eating to fast eating and soon. We have no-time even to look back to what we are doing or where we are going.
All the modern gagets were at one time a luxury in one's life. But now it has become a necessity, the entire philosophy of life as per Vedic terms is to attain peace of Mind, Tranquility and the purpose of or existence and the role of man to eternity and Nature.
the only one living planet that is Earth. Soil, water and air are the three vital essential things of life which God has given as a gift for better living of man-kind on this planet. In our endeavor to lead a comfortable life, we are gradually bringing a vast degradation, degeneration and devolution of the Mother Earth. Modern Problems have brought untold sufferings to humanity in the name of comfort. Urbanisation has devastated the greenery of the Mother Earth. Carbon footprint is ever increasing with the industrialization. Land-use has become mis-use slowly and steadily. All the natural resources are getting depleted. Even breathing air, drinking water getting sufficient water at source (like Lakes, Rivers and Borewells) and getting quality food and to have good health all have become difficult. In the name of improvement we are heading towards devastation of Nature.
The green Mother Earth has turned brown and barren. Degradation of Soil has become beyond revival. The Modern problems are enumerated here we must focus on our rituals which has come from Aryan times like Sandhya Vandana, chanting of Mantras, Japa and many normal rituals related with functions and festivals. We are distancing slowly and steadily from all these and perhaps left it to older generations to continue with their ability to do so. The younger generation have only become spectators of the scenario in the name of work, study and want of space and with so many reasons related with it. A study in this regard has focused on modern problems and ancient solutions with a deep insight.
