Dispositors have profound effect on the behaviour of the disposed planet. This also brings to light hidden meaning. not clear at first sight.
. The effect is abundantly clear in the charts dealt with in this book in different categories such as politicians, lawyers, cine-actors etc.
. A chapter also deals with Karmic Control Planets, the dispositors of Rahu and Ketu.
. Some novel methods, not so commonly used in analysing the horoscopes, have also been exemplified.
Foreword
As President of Indian council for Astrological Sciences, I have been insisting that senior faculty members should put in their best efforts and write quality books covering our syllabus for the students. For imparting good education, it is necessary that the Institution itself should provide quality reading material. Nowadays, there is a trend that persons with little knowledge collect 15-20 books and by adopting cutting and pasting formula, produce books to misguide students, that's the reason that many books available in the market lack understanding and cannot explain the rationale behind any principle. I am happy to note that Shri Vinay Aditya has taken a lead in creating a team with able assistance of Dr. Soumya Kumar, Ashish Sharma and Manish Malhotra. The team has worked hard and published many books on Vaastu, Naadi, Hasta-Rekha and Astrology. In this series, Shri M.G. Kastwar has also contributed by writing this book Multifaceted Dispositors. Shri Kastwar has tried to present various principles and has given many illustrations from the point of view of students. I have always believed that while assessing the strength of a planet, if we have not included the role of dispositors, the assessment will be incomplete. Shri Kastwar has explained the concept, taking into account, Rashi, Navamsha and Nakshatra dispositors. The way he has tried to explain the concept of dispositors of Rahu and Ketu, deserves appreciation. The book will be very useful for all the lovers of Astrology.
Preface
I bow before the Guru who awakened me from the darkness of ignorance through knowledge.
Support by classical texts this book deals with the role of dispositors. Dispositors are the sign lords where the planets are placed in Rashi or Navamsha charts. The lord of Nakshatra or constellation where a planet is placed is Nakshatra-dispositor. They help to exhibit latent behaviour of the planets least expected of them at first sight. The planet behaves with a broader spectrum of possibilities and the astrologer should prudently select the right one. This makes the concept of dispositors an important tool in interpretation of the chart.
