Śri Vedānta Deśika is a rare phenomenon in the sphere of Indian Culture. He was a poet, philosopher, ardent devotee and an efficient practitioner of religion and above all one in whom we find a synthesis of moral character and spiritual insight. An author of more than hundred works pertinent to the philosophy of Viśişțădvaita, his Tattvamuktākalāpa, Adhikaraņa- sărăvali, his commentaries Tattvațikā and Tätparyacandrikā are unparalleled in excellence and in exegesis. His Prakaranagranthas Nyāyapariśuddhi and Nyāyasiddhāñjanam are simply brilliant in elucidation.
I consider it a privilege to place in the hands of our readers the English rendition of Nyayasidhhāñjanam. The book has both original text in Sanskrit and its corresponding English version. I take this opportunity to thank the members involved in publishing of this work.
I wholeheartedly thank our Honourable Vice Chancellor Prof. K.E. Devanathan for his enduring academic help in this endeavour.
I sincerely acknowledge my thanks to Vid. S. Kumara Registrar (Admn.,) for all his able support without which this work would not have come out. I offer my sincerest thanks to the efforts of our research team led by Vid. S. Krishnan, Granthapala and Asst. Registrar (Res) and others in this publication. Services of all our colleagues, support and technical staff are remembered with sincere gratitude at this point of time.
