About The Author
Dr. Sameep Singh is pursuing his M.S. in Shalya Tantra from Quadra Institute of Ayurveda and Hospital, Roorkee, and completed his B.A.M.S. from Abhilashi Ayurvedic College and Research Institute, Chail Chowk, Mandi (H.P.) He has authored eight research papers, delivered six paper presentations, and two poster presentations, and has participated in over sixteen national and international conferences. He is also an Editor and Research Contributor in the Textbook of Shalya Tantra and a member of the Charitable Society of Proctology, Paprola. Deeply passionate about classical Ayurvedic texts like the Charaka Samhita and Sushruta Samhita, Dr. Singh is dedicated to validating their principles through modern research. He is the Founder of VedicSurgery. Al, a project to digitalize the surgical heritage of Acharya Sushruta using Al-based tools. His own struggles in understanding research methodology inspired him to write Research Made Easy-a guide that makes research clear, practical, and engaging for Ayurveda students.
Dr. Diksha Thakur is a dedicated scholar and clinician with a strong foundation in Internal Medicine (Kayachikitsa) and a deep interest in Ayurveda-based research methodologies. Her academic work harmonizes classical Ayurvedic wisdom with modern scientific approaches to research design, clinical protocol formulation, and evidence-based patient outcome analysis.She has authored and published research articles in peer-reviewed journals, presented scientific papers and posters at various national and international conferences, and actively engages in research guidance and collaborative clinical studies. Through her contributions to this textbook, Dr. Thakur offers a holistic, clinically relevant, and student-oriented perspective on research writing and biostatistics in Ayurveda, aiming to make the subject more practical, comprehensible, and inspiring for upcoming scholars.
