Prof. Laxmi Narayen Bunker is Professor in the Department of Psychology, Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur and having Ph.D. in Psychology and in the past he also served as Lecturer in Psychology in G.D. Government Women College, Alwar and Jail Training Institute, Ajmer. He has published four books and more than 30 papers, articles and book reviews in various National and Interna-tional Journals. Eight Ph.D. are awarded and thirteen Ph.D. are undergoing and more than 90 master Dissertations are completed under his supervision. He has 22 years of teaching experience and delivered several special lecturers on different topics at various Institutions. He has conducted, presented and attended many National and International seminars and conferences. He is the president of Academy of Psychology Society and Chief Editor of Behavioural Vision and Social Sciences. He is a life time member of Indian Academy of Applied Psycho-logy (IAAP), Praachi, Psycho-linguistic Association and Well Being Society.

Fourth chapter Depression explains the meaning of depression, its types, its symptoms, its causes, diagnosis and at the end of the chapter a self-test to check your depression level. Fifth chapter Coping presents the meaning of coping, coping styles, types of coping styles, coping strategies, physiological basis of coping behaviour, gender differences in coping skills. Sixth chapter Coping with Stress presents stress relief and management techniques, strategies like time management, diet management, relaxation techniques that can be used to beat stress. Seventh chapter Coping with Anxiety presents Anxiety relief and Management techniques that can be used in managing body, emotional and mental anxiety. In the last section the therapy and medication that can be used for treatment of anxiety is discussed. Eighth chapter Coping with Depression presents the depression relief and management techniques like eating healthy food, supporting system, doing things that feels good and challenging negative thinking. Last section discusses when it's a time to meet professional, what therapies may work and what to keep in mind while starting medication for depression. Ninth chapter Prevention of Stress, Anxiety and Depression presents various techniques with different goals like attaining a state of healthy body and mind, strengthening your body and mind and at the end life skills and its role in effectively dealing with life situations are discussed. Tenth chapter Indian Approaches for Healthy Living presents various approaches of healthy living guided by Buddhism, Jainism, Brahma Kumari's, Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, and Shri Ravi Shankar. We sought to create a hand book that fully captures the extent to which psychology and other related areas reflects, and embraces, the major changes now occurring in these areas of life.
