Shri Sai Baba the Saint of Shirdi, has his own mystic ways of getting things done from his devotees. For example, he got 'Shri Sai Satcharita' written from Shri Dabholkar; got constructed his Samadhi Mandir (Buti Wada) from Shri Buti; got Lendi Bagh purchased by Shri Dhumal and then inspired him of donating it to Shri Sai Baba Sansthan, Shirdi; got bhajans sung by Das Ganu Maharaj; got his aratis written from Shri Bhishma; got his picture painted from Shri Sham Rao Jayker; got padukas installed at gurusthan by Dr. Ram Rao Kothare, Shri Govind Kamlakar Dixit and Bhai Krishnaji Alibagkar etc, etc.
Apart from singing bhajans Shri Das Ganu Maharaj had the honour of authoring Arvachina Bhaktisaramrit, Arvachina Bhaktileelamrit and Santkathamrit.
I congratulate Dr. Rabinder Nath Kakarya for compiling, editing the text and translating the seven chapters of the above said books into English and Hindi. I pray Baba to bless him by giving energy, vision and pure thoughts so that he progresses spiritually.
May the daily reading of Sai literature provide us inner strength and peace leaving us refreshed and optimistic.
Shri Sai Baba's devotees spread all over India will welcome with gratitude this exquisite rendering of Shri Das Ganu Maharaj's gifted chapters on the early life of Shri Sai Baba and his stay with his Guru, Shri Gopal Rao Maharaj at Selu, his coming to Shirdi and later on his blessing humanity in the path of divinity. Shri Sai Baba's followers spread all over India will now be able to taste the beauty of Shri Das Ganu's Marathi in its English garb. The All India Sai Samaj presided over by my friend, Shri Narasimha Swami is doing yeoman service in spreading Baba's name and grace in all possible ways in books, lectures and prayers etc.
I am personally grateful to them for letting me in as an old humble devotee to join in this Blessed Work.
