সংবঙ্গীয় (Samvangiya) is a Peer-Reviewed Academic Journal of the Institute of Language Studies and Research (ILSR). The inaugural issue, "Critical Ramblings", offers a rich tapestry of critical reflections, resulting in an important contribution to contemporary scholarship in the field of literary, linguistic and cultural research.
The research papers in this Journal bring on to the table interdisciplinary reading tools to further enrich academic domains including cultural politics, gender studies, theological studies, Dalit studies, exclusion and inclusive policy studies, memory and trauma studies, regional studies, critical theory and others. All these papers are an outcome of a blind peer-review process which ensures the highest standard. Each paper facilitates an incisive critique in line with the emerging global trends, a unique window to the ongoing landscape of research and critical thinking.
সংবঙ্গীয় (Samvangiya) wishes to carve a niche for advanced intellectual engagement in order to cultivate a community of researchers with innovative ideas and scholarly rigor. The driving force behind the journal is ILSR's pursuit to champion critical discourse and groundbreaking research.
I appreciate and congratulate all the PhD research scholars of the Institute of Language Studies and Research (ILSR) for this initiative. Their relentless efforts and dedication helped this inaugural issue of the journal to see the light of the day. I congratulate all the contributors too for offering such diverse perspectives and critical readings of seminal books. Their scholarly contribution has enriched this journal. I also express my appreciation to the Editorial Advisory Board, the Editorial Team, and the Reviewers for their commitment to excellence.
I invite the readers to join সংবঙ্গীয় (Samvangīya) in its inaugural "Critical Ramblings".
