His latest publication is a gem of an analysis. 'Some Glimpses of Greek and Sanskrit Literary Criticism' deals in detail with the works of Longinus and Anandvardhana and literature of their times, providing rare insights into that period.
What, as he says, was composed some fifty years ago, if not more, was his work at Jadhavpur University under an scholarly guru for his Doctorate, remains relevant in demystifying the works of the Greek and Sanskrit greats. One is unable to understand the inordinate delay in bringing the work to light, but, may be, it was a case of the reader towering over the author in him which is not at all uncommon in the literary fraternity.
