About the Book
These are some of the most familiar names in the field of public relations. Pioneers of the PR business, they are the ones who have shaped it into what it is today.

In Spark: Stories and Insights from India's Public Relations Pioneers, editors Amith Prabhu and Sarika Chavan have compiled the profiles of twenty-four senior professionals. Each essay describes their tryst with the profession, their take on the evolution of PR consultancy and what they see as the future of the business, as well as the skills and serendipity that led to their success. Through these hard-won insights and thoughtful observations, an intimate portrait of a dynamic and exciting field emerges.

Foreword
INDIA'S EMERGENCE ON THE GLOBAL PUBLIC RELATIONS I (PR) stage is no accident, but the logical progression of the innovation and momentum that continues to reflect the nation's essential diversity and dynamism. Increasingly, India's vibrant PR community is setting global trends rather than merely following them-shaping narratives, building relationships and, crucially, playing a leadership role beyond the country's borders.

Introduction
THE IDEA FOR THIS BOOK GERMINATED FROM A SIMPLE T thought-what if we could capture and document the stories of the pioneers who founded Public Relations (PR) firms in India during the early 1990s and 2000s? These are the trailblazers who not only built their firms from the ground up but also paved the way for countless others in the field. Their stories are rich with insights, lessons and experiences that PR professionals can learn from and be inspired by.
