Book Description
Back of the Book

Distraught by difficulties in life, man is in search of true Bliss! Only God- realisation can bestow such Bliss. Only 'Science of Spirituality' shows the path to attaining Bliss!

Conviction is the result of under- standing this science; and then, the individual commences spiritual practice. Principles in Spirituality are the Truth and eternal; hence, there is no doubt that if we perform spiritual practice as per this science, we will get Bliss and realise God. Therefore, Holy texts that impart education on the 'Science of Spirituality' are a precious treasure for mankind!

About The Author

"In all their Holy texts, Dr. Jayant and Dr. (Mrs.) Kunda have presented the theoretical and practical aspects of the science of Spirituality from all angles. Since the Holy texts are based on personal experiences, they inspire even the ignorant to undertake spiritual practice, and strengthen the faith of the seekers on the path of Spirituality, the worshippers and the devotees. Being pleased with Dr. Jayant and his wife Dr. (Mrs.) Kunda's humble and devoted seva done in a true disciple spirit, H.H. Bhaktaraj Maharaj bestowed on them abundant supreme spiritual knowledge and devotion. As a result, Dr. Jayant established Sanatan Sanstha. The centres of the Sanstha are spread far and wide and are engaged in spreading the eternal, true knowledge of the science of Spirituality in scientific terminology in a perfect manner."

Preface

Most people experience the truth that, 'Happiness seems as minute as a grain of barley, while unhappiness seems as huge as a mountain'. In an average person's life happiness is 25% and unhappiness is 75%. Since most people do not know how to attain Anand (Bliss), each tries to acquire at least temporary happiness through the five senses, mind and intellect. However, happiness is temporary and of inferior quality, whereas Anand is eternal and of supreme quality. The science which teaches us how to acquire Anand is termed as the science of Spirituality. Hence, it is said that 'wst";f fcf:rr ~ cw::rm wftrU ~ I' meaning, 'we can attain Anand only if we are Dnermeoereyen (Follower of Dharma); hence, we should be Oharmaparayaf)'. If we hold on to Spirituality and try to obtain Anand by performing sadhana (Spiritual practice), then we also get the benefit of happiness in this world as well as in the other world.

Even though there is so much importance attached to the science of Spirituality, most people do not even know the meaning of the word Spirituality. As a result, very few people turn to Spirituality, the subject which is capable of imparting supreme Anand and Omniscience. Anand is infinitely superior to object pleasure. If this is realised then one will certainly make efforts to acquire Anand instead of object pleasure. This Holy text has been written with this very objective

. This Holy text provides information on the misconceptions about Spirituality, its underlying reasons, why is Spirituality superior when compared with other subjects especially science and difficulties faced while studying Spirituality. It also elaborates upon the difference between object related happiness and Anand which is not related to any object, reasons underlying happiness and unhappiness and how to overcome these and obtain the spiritual experience of Anand. Spirituality is not a subject to be understood at an intellectual level; instead, we need to practically follow it and obtain spiritual experiences.
