He travels the world, treating it as one close-knit family, his family. Divine music is the binding force. He is above religion and language. He communicates through love, silence, and music. His healing music rises from deep within his heart to express itself through his melodious voice, and his nimble fingers that play amazing music. He draws his energy from the exhaustible source that creates and nourishes this universe. He removes our worldly difficulties, whether they are In the form of diseases, poverty, or mental distress, and the expedites our spiritual growth.

In this infinite Creation, our Earth is but atom-like. A human being living on this minute earth is unimaginably small. To help us break our bonds and achieve our true nature of infinity and e ternity Swamiji has come down to us in a human form.

Does Swamiji’s name have any significance? Yes. Of course!
Ganapati represents the syllable Om, which is the source of creation and of all spiritual knowledge. ‘Sat’ is existence. ‘Chit’ is consciousness. ‘Ananda’ is supreme bliss. Everything in creation consists of these three aspects. Therefore, Swamiji’s name Ganapati Sat-Chit- Ananda stands for everything that is, was and ever will be. A ‘sadguru’ is the supreme master capable of lifting one out of the darkness of ignorance into the effulgent light of Truth. To Swamiji’s followers he is not only a spiritual guru but also their very best, most intimate friend. Here are some of their personal experiences.

“The plane was going to crash. We were so frightened. I kept chanting Jaya Guru Datta. It made a safe landing.”

“It was going to be a head-on collision. Miraculously the accident got averted. We just couldn’t believe it! I am sure it was Swamiji’s grace.”

“As long as I serve Swamiji, I know that he will take care of me. I have seen it happen.”
“I went through acute depression. Now I am completely fine. I don’t take medication any more thanks to Swamiji.”

“I never thought I would succeed in doing such difficult projects. Success seems to come easily now, by Swamiji’s grace.”

“I thing it is Swamiji who gives me the strength to accomplish so much.”

“I never listened to music before. Now I cannot live without Swamiji’s music.”

“Any time I run into a problem, I tell Swamiji about it in my own heart. He sends me a solution right away. I know that he listens.”

“My marriage was going to pieces. Thanks to Swamiji, my husband and I get along fine now.”

“It is because of Swamiji that I was able to give up smoking after a thirty five year addiction.”

“I had a serious skin infection on my hands and feet. After six days with Swamiji in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, my infection was gone.”

“A few weeks before hurricane Katrina hit the area, Swamiji, whom I had never met before, told me in my dream that someone would purchase my house, and pay cash for it. The sale of the house enabled me to move my entire family out of New Orleans, where they would have otherwise drowned.”

“I did not know of Swamiji. The do ct ors gave up hope. I was only semi-conscious. An orange piece of cloth was tied to my wrist. Someone played bhajans for me. Miraculously I recovered. After recovery I came to know that they were Swamiji’s bhajans. This was nine years ago.”

Only the divine can have such a totally personal relationship with each and every devotee. Swamiji has hundreds of thousands of followers. The number Increase each day. Swamiji accepts everyone in spite of his or her faults and weaknesses. He gives of himself to each person totally without any reservation. His love knows no bounds. That is why his followers are drawn to him like bees to honey.

Those that serve Swamiji selflessly and with unwavering faith, receive in return, peace, contentment, and joy. Swamiji say’s that one’s karma or one’s own actions from the past determine one’s present and future circumstances. No outside person is responsible for our pain or pleasure. By blaming and hurting others we only increase our own burden of sin, and spoil our own future. The grace of a sadguru improves one’s destiny despite one’s imperfect past. A sadguru’s compassion provides the strength to endure the consequences of past misdeeds.
