Enrapt in the romance with his two nieces, Annamaiya, was shown the wonders and glories of devotion by Bhagwan Shree Balaji himself. Thereafter he gave up all worldly attachments and lived only for the Vision of the lord of the universe, Shree Balaji. But wagging tongues and jealous minds created difficulties for him. But Annamaiya with the help of Shree Balaji overcomes all and becomes a revered saint, who converted kings into disciples and kept on singing about the glories of the lord. At last singing in ecstasy he merges with the lord. Annamaiya has become one with the Supreme Being.
