India has some of the finest and the most promising youth in the world who have the potential to involve into dynamic and disciplined citizenry capable of diligence and devotion to duty, provided there is proper leadership from the elders At present they are looking up like hungry sheep and are not fed. Our country is going through an unprecedented crisis of character and values Our traditional values and age-old culture have been superseded by a new culture which is marked by selfishness, greed, corruption and violence. There is a drastic dip in the graph of our ethical behaviour when we have deviated from 'simple living and high thinking to worship at the altar of the false gods of bohemianism and consumerism which are otherwise called Five-Star-Hotel Culture Unprincipled politicians are our modern Gurus, and matinee idols of the celluloid are the role models for our young men and young women.
