The name ‘Shwaskas Chintamani Rasa’ itself specifies that this is a product specially formulated for Shwas i.e. breathlessness, kasa i.e, cough and other ‘respiratory tract disorders’, It is extremely useful in children who have a tendency of constant and repeated problem of rhinitis. It gives strength to respiratory tract and increases immunity of the body against various organisms, which cause respiratory diseases.
Indications: Respiratory tract disorders viz. cough, breathlessness, tuberculosis, thoracic pain, chronic fever, etc.
Dosage & Anupan: 1-2 tablets once or twice a day or as directed by the Physician. Preferably consume with honey, long pepper powder, basil juice or lukewarm water.
Pathya (Preferred): Diet - Old red rice (weedy rice), shell rice, wheat, horse gram, brinjal, garlic, cardamom, goat milk, cow ghee, sugar, lukewarm water etc.
Lifestyle : Adequate rest, gentle massage on the chest with medicated oil followed by mild fomentation.
Apathya (To be avoided): Diet - Dry an heavy food, spicy food, mustard, oil food, drinking very chilled or too mush water during a meal or indeed at any time especially at bedtime fish, etc.
Lifestyle : Curbing the natural urges, strenuous physical work, polluted surrounding, damp & cool surrounding.
