The Lord of the Seven Hills

Lord Venkateswara, the presiding deity of the famed Tirumala Venkateswara Temple in Andhra Pradesh, is revered as an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Legend has it that Vishnu, in his quest to find Lakshmi who had left Vaikuntha after a quarrel with another Goddess, took refuge on the Venkata Hill. He married Padmavathi, an incarnation of Lakshmi, and continues to reside there, fulfilling the desires of his devotees. The Tirumala temple, a beacon of faith for millions, stands as a testament to this divine union. The Lord is considered the supreme protector and the grantor of boons, drawing devotees from across the globe seeking his blessings and grace.
