Raas Leela is a celestial play without carnal wants. GOPIS are not just ordinary girls. They are pure jeevas (male and female), regardless of gender. These pure spirits can only hear the sound of Lord Krishna's flute. Everyone is unable to engage in this heavenly play. Abhilasha Raut in her Acrylic Paper painting titled Rasleela is also a Madhubani style painting that tries to capture the essence of the philosophy behind the depiction that is very popular in the Hindu belief. The painting beautifully captures the essence of the traditional Indian Raasleela dance in the intricate Madhubani style.

With bold colors and meticulous detailing, Raut portrays the divine dance of Krishna, surrounded by Gopis and vibrant flora and fauna. The characteristic geometric patterns and motifs of Madhubani art seamlessly intertwine with the narrative, creating a harmonious blend of mythology and folk art. Raut's work not only pays homage to the cultural heritage but also breathes new life into the ancient storytelling tradition through her vivid and captivating composition.
