An Emblem of Divine Radiance and Auspiciousness

This exquisite brass creation serves as a powerful symbol of devotion and a beacon of spiritual energy for your sacred space. The central motif depicts Lord Shiva, the destroyer and transformer, a deity revered for his asceticism, meditation, and potent yogic powers. Adorned with the crescent moon in his hair and a coiled cobra around his neck, the imagery evokes his mastery over primal forces. The cobra, Vasuki, is often depicted as his confidant and wearer, symbolizing eternity, protection, and the Kundalini energy. The trident, or Trishula, held aloft, represents the three gunas (Sattva, Rajas, Tamas) and the control Shiva has over them, as well as his power to destroy ignorance, attachment, and illusion. ––––––––––––––––––––

A Symphony of Light and Sound for Puja

The integral design features six wick holders, each meticulously crafted to hold a flame that will illuminate your prayers and meditations. The gentle flicker of these lamps, known as diyas, is believed to dispel darkness, both literal and metaphorical, symbolizing the triumph of knowledge over ignorance. The inclusion of exquisitely crafted bells, suspended below each wick holder, adds another dimension to this sacred artifact. In Hindu traditions, bells are rung during puja to signify the invocation of deities, to ward off negative energies, and to create an atmosphere of sanctity and peace. The melodious chime of these brass bells enhances the spiritual ambiance, creating a harmonious resonance that deepens the devotional experience. This piece is not merely a decorative item; it is a functional instrument for enhancing your spiritual practice, a tangible link to ancient rituals and the profound symbolism of Hinduism. ––––––––––––––––––––

Artistry Rooted in Tradition

Handmade in India, this wall-hanging puja lamp embodies the rich heritage of Indian craftsmanship. Each detail, from the serene expression on Lord Shiva's face to the intricate carvings and the delicate bells, is a testament to the skill and dedication of the artisans. The use of brass, a metal considered sacred in many traditions for its purity and luster, ensures the longevity and beauty of this piece. This lamp is designed to be a striking focal point, whether hung in your home altar, puja room, or any space where you seek to invite divine blessings and a sense of profound tranquility. It serves as a reminder of the eternal truths and the auspicious presence of Lord Shiva, bringing light, sound, and spiritual grace into your life.

How to keep a Brass statue well-maintained?

Brass statues are known and appreciated for their exquisite beauty and luster. The brilliant bright gold appearance of Brass makes it appropriate for casting aesthetic statues and sculptures. Brass is a metal alloy composed mainly of copper and zinc. This chemical composition makes brass a highly durable and corrosion-resistant material. Due to these properties, Brass statues and sculptures can be kept both indoors as well as outdoors. They also last for many decades without losing all their natural shine.

Brass statues can withstand even harsh weather conditions very well due to their corrosion-resistance properties. However, maintaining the luster and natural beauty of brass statues is essential if you want to prolong their life and appearance.

  • The best and simplest way to maintain a brass statue is to clean it at least twice a week using a soft cloth or cotton rag. This will prevent dust from accumulating on the surface. Dusting is especially important for outdoor statues since it is prone to dust accumulation much more than indoors.

  • To give a natural shine and luster to the statue, you may apply coconut or olive oil using cotton on every portion. You can use a toothbrush to get to the small crevices but do not be too harsh. This will make the brass statue appear fresh and new with a polished look.

  • In case you have a colored brass statue, you may apply mustard oil using a soft brush or clean cloth on the brass portion while for the colored portion of the statue, you may use coconut oil with a cotton cloth.

Brass idols of Hindu Gods and Goddesses are especially known for their intricate and detailed work of art. Nepalese sculptures are famous for small brass idols portraying Buddhist deities. These sculptures are beautified with gold gilding and inlay of precious or semi-precious stones. Religious brass statues can be kept at home altars. You can keep a decorative brass statue in your garden or roof to embellish the area and fill it with divinity.
