Glistening divinely, this Panchaloha bronze presents the popular and majestic form of Sri Krishna as Tribhanga Murari, standing in the triple-bent posture. In his primary hands is his Murli or flute, while his secondary hands carry the attributes of Vishnu- conch and discus, symbolizing Krishna’s connection with Sri Hari as his avatar or incarnation. The two-tiered lotus pedestal symbolizes the origin of the universe, which is sustained and nourished by the presence of Narayana.

Krishna is beautifully adorned with quintessential Vaishnava elements- elongated Kiritamukuta, U-shaped Tilak, jeweled ornaments, and a lovely dhoti that clings to his legs forming fine folds. Smiling gently, Krishna blows a sense of animation in his murti, making it a celestial icon for his devotees.

A Divine Melody Embodied in Bronze

This exquisite bronze figurine captures Lord Krishna, the beloved deity of Hinduism, in a moment of divine grace and musical enchantment. Standing at a commanding twelve inches tall, the statue is crafted from fine bronze, a material revered for its durability and ability to hold intricate detail, reflecting the rich artistic traditions of India. The depiction showcases Krishna with his characteristic four arms, each holding a symbolic element that speaks to his multifaceted nature.

The Alluring Charm of the Flute

The central focus of this masterpiece is Krishna's effigy playing his divine flute. The melody from Krishna's Bansuri is said to have the power to mesmerize all beings, from the gopis of Vrindavan to the very cows and birds of the forest. It is a sound that evokes profound devotion, spiritual bliss, and a sense of otherworldly peace. This representation of Krishna in the act of playing his flute is a powerful reminder of his role as the divine charmer and the source of supreme joy. The meticulous carving of the flute and the gentle posture of Krishna's hands as they embrace it convey a sense of soulful harmony, inviting the viewer into a moment of tranquil contemplation. ––––––––––––––––––––

Symbolism and Divine Presence

In two of his hands, Krishna holds the Sudarshana Chakra, his divine discus, representing his power to protect righteousness and destroy evil. The presence of both the soothing flute and the formidable chakra highlights Krishna's complete nature as both the giver of joy and the ultimate protector. This duality is a core tenet of his divine persona, demonstrating that he is the sustainer of the universe, capable of both profound love and decisive action. The four arms symbolize his omnipresence and his ability to engage with the world on multiple planes simultaneously. The intricate ornamentation and the regal crown adorning his head further emphasize his divine status as a king and a protector of dharma.

A Legacy of Craftsmanship and Devotion

The craftsmanship of this bronze statue is a testament to the ancient art of lost-wax casting, a technique passed down through generations. Each detail, from the delicate folds of his garment to the serene expression on his face, is rendered with remarkable precision. This figurine is more than just a decorative piece; it is a conduit to the divine, a tangible representation of faith and spirituality. It serves as a beautiful centerpiece for any home altar, meditation space, or as a cherished collectible for those who appreciate the beauty of Indian art and the profound stories of Hindu mythology. Possessing this statue is to invite the benevolent presence of Lord Krishna into your life, a constant reminder of love, music, and divine protection.
