The lamp is made of brass and consists of three major attractions. The first is the magnificent peacock emblem that graces the top of the lamp. The peacock is seen with a beautiful tail that signifies growth. Below the emblem is an arrangement of five leaf-shaped lamps that bloom like a lotus; below that is a stem or column that is decorated with stylized parrot motifs. The last part is another arrangement of seven leaf-shaped lamps that again bloom like a lotus. The entire structure is supported by a base well decorated with floral carvings. The entire lamp is an amalgamation of sacred flora and fauna and is a messenger of good luck and prosperity.

A Symbol of Divinity and Radiance

Embrace the celestial beauty and spiritual significance of this exquisite brass lamp, meticulously handcrafted in India. The majestic peacock, a creature revered across cultures, takes center stage, its elaborate plumage gracefully fanning out to create a mesmerizing display. In Hindu mythology, the peacock is often associated with Lord Krishna, who is depicted adorning his crown with its vibrant feathers. It is also a symbol of beauty, grace, and immortality, said to have the power to ward off evil spirits. This lamp, therefore, is more than just a decorative piece; it is a conduit of positive energy and divine blessings. ––––––––––

An Emblem of Indian Artistry

This lamp is a testament to the rich artistic heritage of India. Each detail, from the delicate sculpting of the peacock's features to the intricate patterns adorning its base and the lotus-shaped diya holders, speaks of the unparalleled craftsmanship of the artisans. Fashioned from high-quality brass, it possesses a timeless appeal, promising to be an heirloom passed down through generations. The warm, lustrous glow of brass, when illuminated, casts a magical ambiance, transforming any space into a sanctuary of peace and devotion. The design, featuring multiple diyas, is reminiscent of traditional Indian oil lamps, known as 'deepam' or 'diya,' which are central to many religious ceremonies and festivals, symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and good over evil. ––––––––––

Illuminating Sacred Spaces and Celebrations

This magnificent peacock lamp is designed to be a focal point in your home or sacred space. It is ideally suited for puja rooms, meditation corners, or as an elegant decorative accent in your living area. Its impressive size and detailed artistry make it a striking addition to any altar or mantelpiece, drawing the eye and sparking conversation. Let the radiant presence of this lamp fill your home with divine light and auspicious energy.

How to keep a Brass statue well-maintained?

Brass statues are known and appreciated for their exquisite beauty and luster. The brilliant bright gold appearance of Brass makes it appropriate for casting aesthetic statues and sculptures. Brass is a metal alloy composed mainly of copper and zinc. This chemical composition makes brass a highly durable and corrosion-resistant material. Due to these properties, Brass statues and sculptures can be kept both indoors as well as outdoors. They also last for many decades without losing all their natural shine.

Brass statues can withstand even harsh weather conditions very well due to their corrosion-resistance properties. However, maintaining the luster and natural beauty of brass statues is essential if you want to prolong their life and appearance.

  • The best and simplest way to maintain a brass statue is to clean it at least twice a week using a soft cloth or cotton rag. This will prevent dust from accumulating on the surface. Dusting is especially important for outdoor statues since it is prone to dust accumulation much more than indoors.

  • To give a natural shine and luster to the statue, you may apply coconut or olive oil using cotton on every portion. You can use a toothbrush to get to the small crevices but do not be too harsh. This will make the brass statue appear fresh and new with a polished look.

  • In case you have a colored brass statue, you may apply mustard oil using a soft brush or clean cloth on the brass portion while for the colored portion of the statue, you may use coconut oil with a cotton cloth.

Brass idols of Hindu Gods and Goddesses are especially known for their intricate and detailed work of art. Nepalese sculptures are famous for small brass idols portraying Buddhist deities. These sculptures are beautified with gold gilding and inlay of precious or semi-precious stones. Religious brass statues can be kept at home altars. You can keep a decorative brass statue in your garden or roof to embellish the area and fill it with divinity.
