This is an auspicious singing bowl used as a symbol of healing and relaxation in Tibetan Buddhism. Its name is ‘singing bowl’ because the sound produced from it is similar to that of someone singing a melodious and sweet song.
The sound generated, creates a vibrating energy that relieves the brain and body of all the pains, diseases and tensions. This sound is entertained not only by brain cells, but the hyper body cells also come to an ease.

The existence of singing bowl dates back to the time of historical Buddha Shakyamuni and now it is famously used all over the world in Buddhist altars, temples, meditation halls, monasteries etc.
