In this elaborate brass Krishna-Radha statue, the duo appears to be in blissful harmony- both heavenly in appearance, both a timeless reminder of the divinity that resides in pure love. The statues of Radha and Krishna are framed by high raising brass arches, decorated with various Lilas- godly plays of Krishna, intricately carved on the arches that look like elephant tusks.

The magnificent Radha-Krishna brass murtis are embellished tastefully by vibrant inlay work in red, green, blue, and turquoise. Apart from the murli- flute in Krishna’s hand, and Radha Ji’s hand placed on her bangles, they are made to look lovingly alike, a moving reminder of their inseparability. From their distinctive crowns to the fineries that adorn them, and the lotus-shaped platform on which they stand- each part of this brass statue is pleasingly colorful, painted with the vivacious hues of the affection between Radha and Krishna. The floral vines that sprout from the bodies of the divine couple bring grandeur to their presence in this brass composite.

On the top of the arch sits “Mahadeva”- Shiva, filling the image with his benevolence. Such images of Shiva in Vaishnava shrines represent the beauty of Hinduism, in which Shiva and Vishnu (Krishna in this brass) are not opposite but one. A lovely “Ghanta”- bell hangs from the mouth of Kirtimukha (face of glory)- turning this brass Krishna Radha statue into a complete shrine, ready to grace your home with the Prema (love) and Bhakti (devotion) of Krishna and Radha.
