This is a brass box, brownish in color. There is a peacock standing at the centre of the box adding to its beauty. It’s a flower shape box with leaf like petals; each of the nine petals have a same shaped lid that can be opened individually. A small peacock design is gracefully molded on each lid. Box is slightly higher than the ground level as it has nine small legs forged artistically and appropriately.
These small leaf like boxes can be used in various ways: Best of it is to use in places of worship to keep roli, rice (chawal), chandan etc. It can also be treated as an accessory box to keep clips, earrings etc. Another interesting usage can be to keep saunf, cardamom etc. It solves dual perspectives of a beautiful showpiece as well as a container.
