This singing bowl is named after Bhagwan Shakhyamuni Buddha. Friction created by a mallet rubbed around its rim produces astonishingly complex and continuous overtones of great harmony. A more mellow tone can be produced by striking the bowl with a mallet wrapped in soft material.

Built with Bronze, an auspicious & heavenly alloy with the eye-catching ancient carvings, and Includes a striker/ mallet. The sacred healing mantra carved Tibetan Singing Bowl is designed to produce pure octave tones. Also etched or engraved are the holy Om Mani Padme Hum Mantra, & some other symbols on this singing bowl in Tibetan script. This antique bowl is engraved with abstract designs.

To play the singing bowl, there is a beautifully finished striker, known as the mallet made with a ‘soft strike technique’ involving fine quality wood wrapped with the maroon colored soft felt of appropriate density covered on its one end for striking. The bowl is securely placed atop an appropriate sized vibrant sky blue colored o-ring shaped cushion prepared to prevent the bowl from sliding around and to give an excellent tone quality.

Echoes of Enlightenment: The Shakyamuni Buddha Singing Bowl

Invite the ancient wisdom and profound tranquility of Tibetan Buddhism into your home with this exquisite Shakyamuni Buddha Singing Bowl. Handcrafted in Nepal, a land steeped in spiritual tradition and the birthplace of many enlightened beings, this singing bowl is more than just an object; it's a conduit to inner peace and a reminder of the path to awakening. Its rich bronze patina, weathered by time and tradition, whispers tales of monks chanting in secluded monasteries and the serene countenance of the Buddha, Siddhartha Gautama, whose teachings continue to guide millions. The intricate carvings adorning the exterior of the bowl are a visual symphony, depicting auspicious symbols and patterns that hold deep meaning within Buddhist cosmology. These motifs often represent the Wheel of Dharma, symbolizing the Buddha's teachings and the path to liberation, or the lotus flower, a sign of purity and spiritual growth emerging from the muddy waters of worldly attachments. The golden script etched within the bowl's interior adds another layer of sacredness, likely representing ancient mantras or blessings, meant to resonate with the practitioner's intentions and elevate their consciousness.

A Symphony of Sound and Spirit

The true magic of this singing bowl unfolds when its surface is gently struck or circled with the included wooden striker. The resulting sound is not merely auditory; it's a vibrational experience that can calm the restless mind, release tension, and promote a deep sense of relaxation. This practice, known as sound healing, has been utilized for centuries in various spiritual traditions. In Buddhism, the resonance of the bowl is thought to mimic the primordial sound of the universe, the Om, or the harmonious vibrations of the awakened mind. It is believed that these sounds can help to balance the body's energy centers, or chakras, fostering a state of holistic well-being. The accompanying padded cushion, adorned with vibrant, traditional patterns, ensures the bowl rests securely and enhances its resonance, providing a beautiful and stable foundation for your meditation or healing practice.

Crafted with Devotion, For Your Devotion

Each bowl is a testament to the skill and dedication of Nepalese artisans who imbue their creations with a spiritual essence. The blend of bronze, cloth, and wood reflects the natural elements and the interconnectedness of all things, a core tenet of Buddhist philosophy. The striker, crafted from natural wood, provides a comfortable grip and allows for precise control over the bowl's sound, whether you prefer a gentle hum or a sustained, resonant tone. This singing bowl serves as a perfect companion for meditation, yoga, mindfulness exercises, or simply as a beautiful decorative piece that radiates peace and spiritual harmony in your living space. It is an heirloom-quality item, destined to become a cherished part of your spiritual journey.
