Biology

spermatozoa, bacteria infusoria and diversity of microscopic life. Advances in
microscopy also had a profound impact on biological thinking. In the early 19th
century, a number of biologists pointed to the central importance of the cell.
Biology recognises the cell as the basic unit of life, genes as the basic unit
of heredity and evolution as the engine that propels the creation and
extinction of species. . of body and mind. The book contains useful and

Biology is
the scientific study of life and living organisms, from unicellular creatures
(like amoeba, paramoecium) to the most complex living organisms (like man,
monkey, dog etc.). In other words, Biology is the study of living organisms;
