Foreword

While welcoming the very first issue of the Adyar Library Bulletin Brahmavidya, the Theosophist (May, 1937), had alluded to its twin purposes: publication of rare texts for which the Adyar Library was famous, and dissemination of the Divine Wisdom of which the Adyar Library was a repository. In furtherance of this second purpose, it was decided to invite articles from prominent authors, scholars and theosophists for bringing out a special supplement to Brahmavidyā to commemorate the 125th year of publication of The Secret Doctrine by Helena Petrovna Blavatsky, со- founder of the Theosophical Society.
