I had gone over the complete manuscript of The Corrupt Yogi and found it absolutely different from the other books published in India in recent times. It is the bok, which tells about the story of a common man who stands just besides us in the society. The beautifully narrated fiction is near to reality of life and speaks itself the importance of time. The concept of shadow reading is an old technique of occultism in India, which has been revised to memory through the book. The other important feature of the book is the encounter of death with the mystic man, which shows the beginning of new life, or new era of his life is to begun soon, though his ignorance did not recognize it at the time. The conflict of a soul dwindling between senses and spirit has beautifully expressed as well as presented. The book is at par in its contents, mystery and spirituality with few notable fictions of Paulo Coehlo. Dr. Prabhaker has already written a book Marriage and Prostitution, which too has made rapid strides in India. Apart from literary faculties, he is well known astrologer of India and has written many research-oriented books on astrology. Perhaps it was the reason that spirituality has find expression through a fiction. The Corrupt Yogi is a mind-blowing fiction and renders its utility to genre of all ages. I wish him all the success.
