About the CD
Among the various forms of Mother Goddess, Sri Chakra is perhaps the most unique. Sri Chakra is an extraordinary combination of triangles and circles. The Rishis of yore have divided the Sri Chakra into 9 important domains the Nava Avaranas. In each domain, the Mother Goddess manifests with a particular form and name. Eight of these nine names contain the word "Tripura" in them.

The compositions contained in this album eulogize the glory of the Mother Goddess manifesting in the nine domains. The compositions are indeed a treat- both to music lovers and spiritual aspirants. The compositions belong to the same echelon and league- both in their spiritual content and musical excellence - as do the Navavarana Kritiscomposed by the great Sri. Muttuswami Deekshitar
