Book Description
About the Book
Essays on Cultural Anthropology is a collection of articles, particularly of social and cultural anthropological nature, that were contributed to the Second Indian Anthropological Congress held at Pune during February 21 23, 2007. Selection of a fair number of them has been not as much on qualitative considerations as in the interest in highlighting the spread and coverage. Naturally, the essays are of uneven quality. As, instead of demonstrating skill, our intention has been rather to cultivate skill through providing some academic support, particularly to the newcomers to the profession, we believe the volume would serve an useful purpose.
