Originated from the Sanskrit word Sisya meaning disciple or follower Sikhism was founded by Guru Nanak in Punjab and its teachings and philosophies were further evolved by enlightened gurus. The three essential duties karma and Vand Khana which refer to chanting god’s name earning an honest living and sharing one’s earnings with others (charity) respectively although practiced values and teachings which are applicable to humanity in general.

The Ik Onkaar hymn has special significance in the life of bhupinder Sngh. His father Nathaa singh A music professor in Khalsa college Amritsar would recite this mantra to him when he was a little child. The mantra had a profound impact on him and moved him immensely. At that time itself bhupinder Singh had resolved to put this mantra to Music share it with everybody and spread peace. Bhupinder Singh is proud to present this album that comes straight from his heart and is a culmination of his deep reverence towards his father.
