The special number deals with the emerging issues in the field of disability studies and inclusive education and presented the research articles as have been contributed by the individual researcher contributors. The areas covered are Social Inclusion and Education, Education for Sustainable Livelihood, Promoting Equity in Education, Building Inclusive Schools and Community, Implementation ofRPWD Act, 2016, Universal Design for Learning, Government Policies and Inclusive Education, Role of Stakeholders in Inclusive Education and Research and Innovations in Inclusive Education. The discipline of Special Education and Inclusive Education are two important areas of research as emerged globally and a new dimension of interests to the Indian Researchers and Educationists. The Compendium, I sincerely believe, will boost further research enquiry of the researchers in the discipline and the subsequent research findings will surely add new knowledge to the body. I shall be happy to find that the budding researchers as well as seniors will be interested to carryon researches on various issues of the discipline and help society to resolve its challenges.
