Kabir: Thoughts To Inspire and Celebrate
Kabir: Thoughts To Inspire and Celebrate
Description
INTRODUCTION

If at all there's been a poet symbolic of secularism throughout the world, it's Kabir. While details of his birth have remained unclear, it is said that he was brought up by a Muslim community of weavers.

Kabir strongly opposed meaningless ritualism and superstition. He was critical and uncompromising with the religious tenets of his time, and faced contempt from dogmatists. He called himself the 'son of Ram and Allah', and discovered a spirituality free of formalism, sectarianism and dogmatism. Kabir's language was pithy and folksy and his earthy interpretation of situations caught on the common man's imagination.

Back Of The Book

Kabir The biggest ideas in life are often expressed in the fewest words. JAICO brings you the best in this series of Thoughts to Inspire & Celebrate. There are no long speeches or fancy tributes, but there's magic on these pages, and you won't have to search for it.

Kabir is described as one of the greatest poets of religion. He called himself the 'Son of Ram and Allah'. In this book we get glimpse of his understanding of god, on the soul, on Death, on trail, on temptation and life in general.

A Statue was ordered on Dec 22nd and Paid 194.25 including FREE DELIVERY for me as a GIFT for Christmas and they Confirmed that it will be there in 4-5 days but it NEVER arrived till 30th of December and inspite of my various emails they only replied that it is being finished and will be shipped in 24hrs but that was a LIE and no further delivery information was every sent to me. I called and left a message on the phone number listed on their website which is a NY number but no one answered that phone and I left messages but no reply or update on my Statue was sent to me inspite of my daily emails to know the status. I still await this Statue but NO RESPONSIBLE REPLY.
