"Where there is bhakti, there is always shakti and where there is shakti, there is pooran vishwaas. For me, this is Maa Shakti"-Ritika Sawhney.
Life is an enchanting journey where each one of us experience series of divine intervention but the question is do we even notice them. Take a moment and think when something unexplainable and supernatural happened in your life that made you wonder, "This isn't a coincidence; this is a miracle." Well, I remember special moments where I witnessed miracles with the supreme deity Devi Maa (Mata Rani).
"When I longed for love, I felt her. She appeared as an eternal mother and embraced me with her love. When I got lost in worldly attachments and troubles and fell, she came in my dreams, healed me and lifted me up to stand and walk again. When I became blind and lost my eyesight, she gave me the inner shakti to see and sense from within. She awakened my inner eye. When I became directionless, she held my hand as a friend in the form of a kanya and led me in the right direction. When I needed a spiritual master, a teacher, she became my mentor and guide."
This book is rooted in Devi Maa's instruction and guidance. The true credit to this book only and only goes to Devi Maa because my inner being was aware that the energy flow through this book in the form of writings and messages were given by her. I am nowhere in the picture. I only became a postman who was appointed for a job to deliver and spread the word of her love and grace through this book. Let me explain. Just like a postman is a person who is appointed to deliver letters and important items and documents to every person's home, and he goes door-to-door as he knows how important these letters mean to both the parties the sender and the receiver. Similarly, this book is moulded by Devi Maa's will and will be automatically delivered to all those homes and reach all her beloved devotee's hearts whom she herself would want to send this book to as her (prasadam) glorious gift.. When I say I played the role of a postman, it simply means I only played a role of a medium, a channel, and delivered her love and grace through these words which are her voice to reach out to all. My prayers with a sincere heart is that each one of you may receive and experience miracles from her just like I did.
"I became the vessel and she became the energy that poured and flowed." Let me explain. I was called to write through the voice of the Maa Shakti (universal mother goddess) who lives in my own heart.
Just a few months ago, in the middle of an aarti at a Devi temple, a strong voice urged me to write about Devi Maa's real miracles and life encounters that not only I but many of her other devotees, had experienced in life and to share these miracles as inspiration to many others. For almost a month, I wondered what to write. Then, one day, I left it all to the Devi to guide me.
With most of the real experiences that I have encountered with my beloved Mata Rani (Devi Maa), I did not realize what they were until much later. This book is not just a book on miracles of the supreme deity, Devi Maa, but it is also her love, grace and inspiring shakti that you will hold in your hearts and while reading it, you will sense her energy, healing, love and feel the connection in your subconscious. This book is for all who want to start their connection with Devi Maa; for all who already have a strong connection with her and; for all who want to experience and get drenched in her love and grace.
