The
sound of music, that exists in a state of absolute silence is the 'Naad'. A
sincere seeker can realise this fact through meditation, in confluence with
Indian Classical Music. Indian Classical Music and Kriya Yog are complementary
to each other. Confluence of these two primordial classical techniques will
lead a practitioner to achieve the ultimate destination-the Brahma. Ved is the
foundation of traditional music which has been thoroughly explained in Sam Ved.
It has been described that music is Naad-Upasana. It is clear that Yog-Upasana
as stated in Patanjali's Yog-sutra, especially the term Kriya Yog and the
classical music of Bharatvarshh has the same way of thinking/.modus operandi to
reach the destination. His Holiness Paramahamsa Hariharananda Giri Ji Maharaj,
Grandmaster of Kriya Yog stated that- "If I could have practiced Kriya
Yog, along with Indian Classical Music, then I would have attained Nirbikalpa
Samadhi much earlier." This book contains the metaphorical and Yogic
explanation of songs by realised masters like Rabindranath Thakur, Swami
Vivekananda, Lalon Fakir, Sant Kabir and more... Another book in relation to
this by the author is "Text Book of Kriya Yog: The Cosmic Engineering of
Life in the Light of Medical Science".
