Book Description
About the Book
'When you come to the Master, seeking stops, blossoming begins.'-Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Uddhava goes to his cousin and teacher, Krishna, to seek the highest knowledge, Brahmagyan. He expects a discourse on detachment, meditation and the nature of the self. Instead, with a knowing smile, Krishna dispatches him to Radha's Vrindavan. Uddhava arrives in Vrindavan as a teacher, an intellectual. But in the playful laughter of the gopis, in Radha's intense, silent ache, in love that asks for nothing yet offers everything, his heart surrenders. Uddhava's journey becomes a meditation on longing, surrender and divine union. Wonder and mysticism entwine as Krishna's past unfolds: Rukmini's quiet strength, Narada's subtle wisdom and memories of flute-song and moonlight. But it is in Radha's eyes that Uddhava finally sees: the love that holds Krishna captive is the only truth worth knowing. Knowledge bows to devotion. It is a truth too dazzling for philosophy to hold. Radha: A Tale of Divine Love is not a story of knowing-it is a story of being, a poetic pilgrimage into the heart of bhakti, where every question dissolves into love.

Prologue
The unbounded skies are veiled in pink As the sun rises Her journey is to merge And shine as the infinite blue. The wave rises and recedes Seeking to touch the moon; An eternal connection, Calming, unseen. Dancing and merging Into the depths of the oceans blue. The wave feels the separation Not the ocean, never; The moment of dissolving Is total contentment, The real state, forever. From being one to 'no two' Is the sacred rhythm For the eternal dance As they go round and around.
