Foreword I am very happy to introduce the work Sarvasvasamrddhi edited by Dr. N.K. Sundareswaran and Smt. Sajitha. A, as the 54th number of Calicut University Sanskrit Series. This work contains the proceedings of the National Seminar on Prakriyasarvasva conducted by the Department in March 2015. Distinguished scholars like Prof. G. Gangadharan Nair, Prof. Krishnakumar, Prof. K.V. Vasudevan and Dr. K. Vishnu Namputiri have dwelved upon various aspects of Prakriyasarvasva, a work on sanskrit grammar written by Melputtur Narayana Bhatta, a prolific writer from Kerala. I am very glad to state that inspite of various difficulties; Dr. N.K. Sundareswaran has been successful in bringing out this book in time. I hope that the scholarly world would receive this book with enthusiasm as in the case of earlier numbers in our Sanskrit series.
