About the Book
When the Sun rises in the morning, activities begin in the world. The Sun leads the activities of the entire day. During the after-noon it is very bright and there are more activities in the world and people run around to fulfill their responsibilities. As the Sun goes below the horizon the activities start slowing down and at night people are in their beds. Sun means activity, it is the Sun who controls everything.
This book discusses various astrological aspects of the Sun who is "The Supreme Creator". When a person develops the quality of giving selflessly and gives up ego, he develops the quality of the Sun within himself. Without the positive qualities of the Sun, a person is unable to face the negativity of life and soon gets disheartened in adverse circumstances.
This book discusses why the ancient sages described Leo as their own zodiac sign, Aries as the exalted sign and Libra as the debili-tated sign of the Sun. The legend involving Sun and his wife has a meaning and is discussed here. It further discusses the import-ant characteristics of the Sun, its relationship with other planets, transits and ways to strengthen it.
Preface
Ever since I started learning astrology, I have closely studied the astrological aspects related to the Sun of many human beings and their activities. I found that the position of the Sun in a particular house (bhav) decides the final decision taken by the individual, as the Sun represents the soul and every soul has some purpose for their birth. Every action done by a person strengthens his soul's purpose. Giving is a noble act and selfless giving is essential to strengthen the soul.
The rules of life are reversed, here the giver benefits and the one who snatches suffers loss. Sun is the supreme creator of the universe who teaches us to give. The one who gives is the one who gets stronger, the one who gives is the one who grows; the one who gives is the one who can create.
But people are stingy and think a hundred times before giving and give only what is useless or when they see their own profit.
Acknowledgement
The existence of this book would not have been possible without the help of my wife Seema and my daughter Saanvi. They provided me enough help to write down my thoughts which I have collected so far in my life. My wife has been instrumental as an illustrator and proof-reader and has given me enough insights to write the matter in a simple and explanatory manner.
Introduction
The he seven horses of the Sun represent the seven colors which are the seven chakras of our body. Sun symbolizes the soul and our soul is connected to these seven chakras and these chakras are in constant motion.
It is said in ancient texts that Lord Sun always roams around riding on his seven horses. This tells that due to the rotation of the Sun, there is continuous movement in the seven chakras of our body and life remains dynamic on the earth. As soon as the soul leaves the body, the movement of these chakras ends and the body dies.
When the Sun rises in the morning, activities begin in the world. It is the Sun that leads the activities of the entire day.
