लेखक परिचय नाम : मेघराज मीणा जन्मतिथि: 10/08/1988 जन्मस्थान : सवाई माधोपुर, राजस्थान अध्ययन : एम.ए., एम.फिल., पी-एच.डी. संस्कृत एवं प्राच्य अध्ययन केन्द्र, जवाहरलाल नेहरू विश्वविद्यालय अध्यापन: 2014 से सहायक आचार्य के रूप में संस्कृत विभाग, शिवाजी कॉलेज, दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय में श्रीमद्भगवद्गीता, अद्वैत वेदान्त, सांख्यदर्शन, वैशेषिक दर्शन आदि विषयों का अध्यापन कर रहें है। वर्तमान में इनके निर्देशन में दो शोधार्थी अद्वैत वेदान्त के क्षेत्र में शोधकार्य कर रहे हैं। शोधपत्र : राष्ट्रीय एवं अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर की शोध-पत्रिकाओं में दशाधिक शोध पत्र प्रकाशित हो चुके हैं।

प्राक्कथन वेद शब्द का अर्थ ज्ञान है। विषय की दृष्टि से वेदों के तीन भाग हैं-कर्म, उपासना और ज्ञान। विश्व के कारणतत्त्व परब्रह्म का विचार ज्ञानकाण्ड में किया गया है। कर्मकाण्ड और उपासनाकाण्ड का लक्ष्य मानव-मन में उस परमतत्त्व को उपलब्ध करने के लिये योग्यता का निर्माण करना है। इसलिये कर्म और उपासना साधन हैं और ज्ञान साध्य। वेद-पुरुष के शिरोभाग या ज्ञानकाण्ड का नाम ही उपनिषद् है। इसी को ब्रह्मविद्या अथवा अध्यात्मविद्या का स्रोत कहते हैं। वेद का अन्तिम भाग होने से इसे वेदान्त भी कहा जाता है और वेदान्त सम्बन्धी श्रुति-सङ्ग्रह-ग्रन्थों के लिये भी उपनिषद् शब्द का प्रयोग होता है। उपनिषद् सत्य के उस स्वरूप का निरूपण करने में समर्थ हैं, जो मनुष्य की वैज्ञानिक, दार्शनिक तथा धार्मिक प्रत्याकांक्षाओं की परितुष्टि कर सकता है, क्योंकि उपनिषद् हमारे सामने सत्य का वह सिद्धान्त रखतीं हैं जो अपरोक्ष तथा रहस्यात्मक स्वानुभूतिजन्य है जिसकी ओर कोई विज्ञान प्रश्नचिन्ह नहीं उठा सकता, जिसे सभी दर्शन अपने प्रयासों का अन्तिम लक्ष्य मानते हैं। उपनिषद् हमें बाह्य और आभ्यन्तरिक दोनों ही सत्ताओं, विद्युत् के आलोक और मन की प्रगति में, उसी एक चरम सत्य का स्वरूप देखने का उपदेश देती हैं। उपनिषदें व्यवस्थित चिन्तन से अधिक आत्मिक आलोक के साधन हैं। ये हमारे आगे अमूर्त दार्शनिक पदार्थों का संसार नहीं, अपितु अमूल्य और अनेक प्रकार के आत्मिक अनुभव का संसार उ‌द्घाटित करती हैं। इनके सत्यों की पुष्टि केवल तर्कबुद्धि से नहीं बल्कि निजी अनुभव से होती है। इनका लक्ष्य काल्पनिक नहीं, व्यावहारिक है। ज्ञान मुक्ति का साधन है।
