Devi Foundation is a registered not –for –profit organization based in New Delhi .With this musical album as its twelfth venture it is helping under privileged women and children in India. The Foundation’s efforts are directed to help them achieve their goals in education and physical well being. The Foundation actively uses different forms of music art and theatre in communication, particularly in rural areas, in combination with a regular programme of medical camps and educational workshops for women and children . The other album produced by the foundation are titled Anjali,a complete offering to the goddess, Sundarkand (four volumes) and Shiv Vivah from Shriramcharitmanas, Kabir (two volumes), Krishna Madhav (two volumes), Holi Ke Rang –Tesu ke Phool, and Ram Raga, all sung by Pt. Chhannulal Mishra and the series titled Rasan Piya one and two (both in two volumes) sung by living master Ustad Abdul Rashid khan of Gwalior Gharana, a direct descendant of Surat Sen the third son of Tansen. All the proceeds from the sale of this album will go towards sucsh activities .
