With the whole village gathered and symbolizing the unity of the family, Lord Krishna sits on a chaise lounge in his Navaneetha (Bal Krishna) form. He is the physical embodiment of innocence and purity. Even in his guilelessness, he was divine and all-knowing. Once, as a kid, Lord Krishna ate mud. When his brother Balrama complained about it to Yashoda, she rushed out to scold him. To clean out his mouth, he had to open his mouth and Yashoda urged him to do so. As he opened his mouth, she was stunned.
The entirety of the cosmos was present inside of him and he encompassed the whole world. Another time, when he was a toddler, a mango seller came around her house. He loved mangos and knew that the village worked on a barter system as he saw his father bring a basket full of grain to trade for a basket full of fruit. So, he ran inside his house and gathered a fistful of grains, as much as his little hands could handle and brought them to the fruit seller. She was charmed by him and gave him mangoes just for a handful of grains. Krishna was overjoyed and as they all watched, her handful of grain turned into a basketful of mangoes. She knew, then, that he was divine.
