About the Book
In this book Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar and Brahmanism the Author has taken great pains in analysing the shortcomings in the studies of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and coming to quick conclusions as far as Vedic scriptures are concerned.

The purpose of writing this book is to find out precisely where the Brahmins have failed and why they are hated.

This difficult and controversial subject has been treated by the Author as a modern and proud Indian free from the shackles of the caste system. The Riddles in Hinduism posed by Dr. Ambedkar have been examined by the author as an Indian conscious of his rights and privileges in independent India.

In the opinion of the Author, the Brahmins should come out of hibernation. Not only should they read and write the scriptures but they should also delete verses of doubtful authenticity.

About the Author
Q.L. Gautama IRSE (Retd.) was born in Kannauj (Uttar Pradesh) on 11 November, 1925 and acquired the name of Qanauji Lal. After obtaining a diploma in Civil Engineering, he served with the Railways as a Railway Engineer Indian Railways Services of Engineers and throughout his tenure, he got more publicity because of the initial "Q" in his name. He graduated from Delhi University with Urdu as his main subject.

He inherited Urdu from his father who was a Persian scholar and gained fluency in Urdu from his grandmother who spoke Taksali Urdu.

The Author is an admirer of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar but could not resist the temptation to differ with this "intellectual giant" because of his contempt for the Brahmins and Hinduism. He is a Vedantist and his spiritual Guru is Swami Rama Tirtha. "Khamkhanai Rama" (Urdu) is his gospel.

Foreword
I have gone through the pages of the Book Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar and Brahmanism as viewed by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar written by the learned author Shri QL Gautama. The writer has taken pains in analysing the shortcomings in the studies of Dr. BR Ambedkar and coming to quick conclusions as far as Vedic Scriptures are concerned. Only a sound study of these Shastras is fruitful. Whatever may be the contribution of Dz. B.R. Ambedkar for the upliftment of downtrodden but his quick conclusions regarding Brahmans and Vedas are not sound. He was not a Sanskrit scholar and has viewed Vedic Literature from Western point of view. It is an established fact that the Westerners studied Hindu Shastras with a prejudiced eyes. The same has been adopted by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. Only a dispassionate study can reveal the greatness of Brahmans of yore.

-Dr. (Prof.) Bhawanilal Bhartiya Ex. Professor & Chairman, Dayanand Chair for Vedic Studies.

Preface
The purpose writing this book is find out precisely Brahmins failed and why they are hated. If Indian another on the basis of religion and then either the country will be further subdivided taken over by an alien ruler. There will then be no reservation the Hindus including Dalits. The writing on the wall loud and clear.

difficult controversial has been treated me as a modern proud Indian free from the shackles the caste system. Riddles Hinduism by Ambedkar been examined me not as pundit as an Indian conscious his rights and privileges independent India. places have commented strongly against views of Dr. Ambedkar they are unavoidable I am sure it will be taken in the true spirit by my readers.

Hindus have adhered strictly the principle coexistence. They have never to proselytise other communities, it is for this reason they never crossed borders India to invade other countries order spread Hinduism.

Under such circumstances really hurts true Hindu being ridiculed his very own compatriots belonging different castes.

Introduction
Ambedkar's Riddles In Hinduism Dr. Ambedkar has discussed the "Riddles In Hinduism" under three distinct headings.

Part-I deals with Religion and includes a frank discussion on the Vedas, Upanishads, Shastras and various Gods and Goddesses. The riddles have been discussed under very interesting headings but the Brahmins have always been uppermost in his mind. For example in Riddle No. 15. BRA goodhumouredly asked the Brahmins, "How did the Brahmins wed an Ahimsak God to a Bloodthirsty Goddess?"

In Part-II under the Title of 'Social' Dr. Ambedkar generally discusses the Manusmriti. Here also he does not forget the Brahmins. The title of Riddle No. 20 reads. "Kalivarjaya or the Brahmanic art of suspending the operation of sin without calling it sin." Dr. Ambedkar concludes this chapter thus, "Why did the Brahmins invent the new technique, forbid but not condemn? There must be some special reason for this departure. What is that reason?"

Part-III is under the heading of 'Political'. This is the most interesting part of his book. He discusses the character of Rama and Krishna and generally ridicules the morals of the bygone Aryans. At one place in Riddle No. 23, he dubs the Rishis as "Pedigree Cattle."
