This book presents valuable history of the 2500 years of ancient Jalandhar. Besides, it gives the hitherto unknown facts about various ancient towns and villages of Jalandhar district.

Besides, it is also a ready-reference of each and every village of the district, with each village's area in hectares, its population (1991 and 2001 census) as well as each village's location, nearest post office, nearest railway station, nearest main road, development block etc of each village.
