This sixth flower of our bouquet is devoted to Swami Vivekananda, a unique spiritual leader of India, who introduced various unique Indian concepts to the west. His universal vision, rational approach and commitment to ameliorating the distressed humanity are still unparalleled in history of the fact that nearly a century has elapsed since he quit his mortal coil. Even then in his exhortations seem very relevant, particularly to the existing Indian conditions. That is why we have appended his chosen exhortations at the end to help our discerning reader feel the warmth that his words had inspired the world with. A brief life history of this great karma yogi give an idea as to how an ordinary Bengali boy, Naren, was transformed into 'Swami Vivekananda' once he met his mentor and Master, Swami Ramakrishna Paramahansa.
The events recorded here are authentic and devoid of any attempt to deify either him or his guru. The whole attempt has been to show how an honest quest turns a confused youth into a universal saint.
Lastly, the author conveys his gratitude to Mittal Brothers of Books For All' for giving him an opportunity to convey his regard through this slender volume to this great saint of India.
