This book deals with Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's views on the Value of Women in the eyes of the people of the world. This is no mere essay in which the writer discusses the so-called demeaned position or status of women in the nineteenth century but the worth they deserve. He had also written other two essays on women, "Swaraj Sadhanay Nari" and "Narir Lekha", but neither of the two had won such wide applause as "Narir Mullya" did. It might be because, in this essay he discussed in detail the worth of women, globally. This essay was published on the 18th March, 1924, by M.C. Sarkar and Sons. This is the only essay published in the form of a book that had raised immense interest among the readers of those times. This has not lost relevance in the present times, though.
