have known Shri Deepak Kumar since last twenty years. Since 1 first met 1 him I have always been fascinated by his engaging wit, his disarming smile and more than anything, his analytical mind. Professionally, he is a versatile genius. First and foremost, he is a well known journalist and author who has written more than 4,000 article and many books, In addition, he is a respected private investigator who has solved many difficult cases. He is also a psephologist. As a psephologist, he has conducted large number of election surveys, commissioned by various political parties and organisations. In addition, he has also worked as Counsellor to large number of industrial groups providing them with extensive help and support. One aspect which is common to all his pursuits and is instrumental in his success is his attention to details and his analytical and research skills. He has now brought his unparalleled skills to a subject which requires such sharp analysis. Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose is one of India's greatest leaders and a revered freedom fighter. His creation of Azad Hind Fauz or Indian National Army to take on the British during Second World War was a historical event. It forced the World to take note of the Indian public disenchantment against British rule which finally culiminated in Indian independence. Netaji's alleged death in a plane crash has given rise to many controversies. It has generated questions that remain unanswered even today. Though there have been many Commissions, Committees and other efforts on the part of both governments as well as individuals to unravel the mystery surrounding Netaji's death in the plane crash, the issue remains alive. Did Netaji die in the plane crash in August 1945 or was it just a camouflage? If he did not die in the plane crash, what happened to him? His research took him to various parts of the world including to Moscow, Washington, Bangkok, Phnom Penh and London. He also had wide ranging discussions with the sources in Moscow and Omsk. All these research and extensive discussions he had has now resulted in this extremely well researched book. The book sheds interesting insight into geopolitical developments of the forties in Asia with extensively researched data on the role of Japan and the formation of INA. It also provides details of Netaji's activities prior to his taking leadership of INA. Most illuminating are the details of Netaji's activities immediately prior to the alleged fatal plane crash. Deepak Kumar has completed his graduation from the Delhi University and has done Diploma in Forensic Science from the Amity University Beginning his from the Hindustan Samachar News Agency and making through various other news agencies, he has been associated as a Director with International Media (Shree Ram Group), Aprastut Prasang Lekh Sewa (feature Services), In course of his journalistic career, he has been instrumental in publication of more than 5000 articles on varied subjects relating to politics, KGB, defence and international affairs, to name a few, in different of India. a newspapers Honoured with the 'International Media Award' by the then Prime Minister, Shri Chandrasekhar, he has been distinguished psephologist who has conducted electoral surveys of almost all the states many times over, including elections in Nepal. He also holds the unique distinction of being the last journalist to hold the interview of then Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Mr. Agha Shahi who, gave the interview just before his resignation. His meeting talk with His Holiness Dalai Lama got around in the Indian & International newspapers alike, including the broadcasts. Additionally, he has written many books on diverse topics.
About The Book
This book is the outcome of research carried out during the course of last 7-8 years. It will serve as an Encyclopedia for all those who intend to investigate upon the subject as regards the place where the venerated leader of our country, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, actually died. The book gives description of the international situation prevailing during the WWII, foreign policy of Japan, detailed chronology on the life events of Subhas Chandra Bose, and also the analysis on the investigation done in the matter till date. Additionally, Circumstances pertaining to the creation of INA till its disbandment and trials held in the historic Red Fort of Delhi have also been covered in the book. A detailed account of the complete leadership of INA also finds mention in this work.
