Pratyangira Devi, the Pure expression of Tripura Sundari's fury, who protects against all that is negative

Goddess Pratyangira is portrayed as having a darker skin tone, a fearsome persona, a lion's face with inflamed eyes, atop a lion, and even being totally naked or dressed in black. She seems to have a variant structure called Atharvana-Bhadra-Kali and is linked to Bhairava too. Additionally, folks regard her as Narasimhi. The lion-headed personification of the celestial mother is called Pratyangira. It is claimed that her mantra might respond and adversely affect the individual conducting such rituals if it is employed to damage someone else for monetary benefit and to settle enmity.

For most of the previous eras, the Pratyangira component of the Divine was retained as a secret. Many individuals were of the opinion that only saints and sages could only have close communication with this power. Any glimpse of Pratyangira was regarded as a wonderful gift and a signal that you enjoyed her companionship. Pratyangira originates from the Heavenly Mother's most interior depths. When Pratyangira vitality emerges, it is often a swift and frequently violent flow. Several of the gurus who have observed its fluid manifestation claim that it resembled a combination of a lion and a person. The union of Shiva and Shakti is represented by the lion's male and female sexes on its body and head respectively.

In her true glory, she is immense, with 1008 heads (meant to symbolize the widespread chakra of universal energy, the Sahasrara Chakra, which seems to have 1008 petals) and 2016 hands. She rides regally on a chariot pulled by 4 lions (chosen to represent the 4 Vedas), she is equipped with innumerable blades for eliminating barriers. It is extremely effective in eliminating bad vibes due to the numerous lions' jaws, and it is a great blessing for anyone embarking on a spiritual quest. While such a river can be understandably turbulent, it is important to approach it with care and give some consideration to what our hearts are demanding. All-powerful Sri Maha Pratyangira Goddess protects devotees and others secretly. She is by Her devotees' sides at any and all moments. Every individual being on each and every plane of existence already possesses her, ready to be roused. Until recently, Sri Maha Pratyangira Devi's presence was just faintly acknowledged. After murdering Asuran Hiranyakashipu, Narasimha Swami is believed to have gotten furious. Prathyangira Amman is believed to have appeared or born to pacify him and save the earth from his vengeance. Based on one of our purana's tales, Narasimha swami's ugraham was unbearable after Hiranyakashipu was murdered and was unable to be soothed by other gods. They were afraid that in his wrath, the three realms might just be annihilated and all creation will cease.

She is believed to have been formed using thunderstorms and lightning, and then when Narasimha Swami initially set eyes on her gigantic appearance, he comprehended the reason for his Avataram and instantly subsided. Another legend states that when Sages Angiras and Prathyangiras meditated on this Devi, Pratyangira materialized ahead of them and, touched by their worship, volunteered to combine their names with her own. Even in a third story, Mata Prathyangira is believed to have destroyed Lord Sarabeshwarar's pride. She sometimes uses the name Narasimhi.
