Accepting Laddu Gopal means accepting Lord Krishna as your son. When you serve Him as your son, you care for all His needs and consider Him completely dependent upon you. Thus, you should not leave Him at home when going out. Although Lord Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, when you accept Him as your child, He reciprocates with you. He sees your sincerity and devotion toward Him.
Lord Shri Krishna is the sweetheart of Vrindavan. All the residents of Vrindavan loved Him with their heart and soul. He would play His transcendental flute and even the animals would relish its sweet sound and enter into the highest state of bliss.
Hence, keeping the statue of Lord Krishna playing upon His flute is considered very auspicious. It acts
as a reminder for us to always be absorbed and attached to His transcendental
and sweet pastimes in Vrindavan. This will make us free from material anxiety
and perplexity.
